C. MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS (Discussion Items/Possible Committee Action):
(1) Discussion and possible motion letter to GEPENC to Fund Thanks Giving Day Dinner to
Echo Park Youth........... $2,000.
(2) Discussion and possible motion for GEPENC to Write letter of support to LAUSD
to return 6th grade teaching back to the Elementary School level for all
Elementary Schools on traditional school calendar in GEPENC boundaries.
(3) Discussion and possible motion to fund 2 Dodger baseball outings for
150 children @ $3.00 per child, $450.00 per event, total request....... $900.00.
(4) Discussion and possible motion for back-up plan in regards to Lack of Recreation if no
response from the City of Los Angeles, CD1 and CD13.
(5) Discussion and possible motion to fund the Summer Games (formally known as the
Easter Games and Fishing Derby, with name change to GEPENC End of Summer
Games and Fishing Derby.....................................$1,000.00.
