IV. MOTIONS & RESOLUTIONS (Discussion Items/Possible Committee Action)
(1) ZA 2009 573-ZAA: Paul Kirkpatrick, Applicant. Adjustment is requested to permit an existing 11-foot deck, which encroaches into required setback. (15 mins)
(2) ZAA 2006-5110 CUB-PAI: Charles Kelly, Applicant. Request Letter of support to renew CUB, and modify or delete conditions #’s 13 (modify to allow 2 musicians to perform thurs-sat 7p-12a), #20 (to allow window signage “fine wine and cocktails,) and # 40, (to allow participation in roving security to patrol). Continued from May meeting, due to lack of quorum. (10 mins)
(3) Lot 1 Café-CUB application for Beer and Wine sales. Elaine Leslie applicant. (20 Mins)
(4) 4 Square Foundation presentation on proposed Sr. Housing Development on Glendale Blvd. between Montrose and Park Ave’s. (50 mins)
(5) Echo Park Community Design Overlay (CDO)- Support the City of L.A. Planning Department proposal to implement a CDO for the area described in the Silver Lake/Echo Park/Elysian Valley Community Plan, and surveyed by the City Planning Dept. (Continued from last meeting, due to lack of quorum) (10 mins)
(6) Request from Citizens Committee to Save Elysian Park, to get letter of opposition from the GEPENC BOD, to OPPOSE City of L.A. Dept of Transportations Bicycle Advisory Committees efforts to amend LAMC 63.44b, restricting vehicles and bicycles from LA City Trails not specifically constructed for bicycles. (Cont. from last meeting due to lack of quorum) (10 mins)
(5) Medical Marijuana Clinics in Echo Park (10 mim)
